It's unfortunate that only one episode of this series survives. Based on "The Corpse Can't Play" and the very descriptive and excellent book accompanying the wonderfully old-school square DVD sleeve, this was a show worth watching. It was, as the title suggests, a horror anthology.
The BBC lost/ destroyed/buried the tapes and the series has, over the decades, taken on a mythic reputation. Stories abound saying the series was so horrific it drove people insane and the Queen herself demanded that the episodes be destroyed.
